The DIM weight refers to the dimensions of the package and how they are used in the calculation of the weight of a package based on size rather than the measured "gross weight".
To price international shipping, carriers charge the greater of either the actual weight or DIM weight based on the size of the box.
This means as an example that a 3KG package that has large dimensions like 50cmx30cmx30cm like a pillow for instance may actually be charged at a weight 9KG .

Yes, you or a designated person (friend/family member) can pick up locally at all our warehouses for free charge service.
Please set the shipping method for your package as "Local Pickup."
You must bring a valid photo ID to pick up your package.
You also can select our pick up point at your near area for your pickup



Many thousands of packages are delivered to our warehouse each day. Depending on the time of year, after a package arrives at the warehouse it can take up to 2 business days to appear in your account . If your package does not appear in your account after 2 business days, then there is a possibility we were not able to process your package.
If you believe this is the case, please submit a support ticket providing the tracking number and any other additional information about your package to assist our investigation.


Please immediately enter your package and tracking number in the Expected Package section of your account to help with locating. When there is no suite number on a package or if the name on the package does not match the suite, the package will be placed the unclaimed packages account. If your package was delivered and has not been entered into your account within 2 business days, please submit a support ticket, providing the tracking number and any other additional information about your package to assist our investigation.


We will email you once your package is checked in and entered into your account. Make sure to check your spam box if you don't receive an email.

There will also be a notification within your account even if you are not getting our emails.


After your package has been processed into our warehouse you need to click action required, select your package, and complete the item detail. At this time, you may also make any special requests. Once the customs declaration is done and all requests have been completed, the package can then be scheduled for mail out by choosing ready to ship. From this point you select the carrier, insurance, and pay for your package to be shipped.

Repack and consolidation service is based on your selection, there is $0.5 NZD per kg difference bewteen on freight cost if you choose repack service.

Dimensional (DIM) weight is a pricing method that calculates an estimated weight based on the length, width, and height of a package. The shipping fee is determined by either the dimensional weight or the actual weight, whichever is greater.

The Parcelmate website has a simple shipping calculator that can give an instant estimate based on this method.

Yes, your package can be picked up from the Auckland warehouse by either yourself or a designated person (Family\Freind member).  Please note that we require the intended person to have on them a valid photo ID.

If choosing to pick up your package, please set the shipping method for your package to “local Pickup” in your Parcelmate account. 

You can also pick up packages from your nearest location outside of Auckland, please set the address in your account and a designated location in your area will be communicated to you.

We receive thousands of packages to our warehouse each day and it can take up to 2 business days to appear in your account.

Please have your packaging number and any other additional information on hand.   

If you have forgotten to use your personalised address (client ID number) when shipping goods to our warehouse in China, as soon as possible enter your tracking number (shipping mark or shipping label) and package details into the “expected package” section of your Parcelmate account. This will help with recovering and locating your package. 

If there is no tracking number on a package or the name on the package does not match with the tracking number, the package will be placed into the unclaimed packages account. If this happens, our team will try to match the details as entered above, with the arrived packages.

You will receive an email when your package has arrived at the China warehouse and has been entered into your account.

Please check your spam box if you cannot find the email.

You will also receive a notification within your  Parcelmate account.

Once your package has arrived and has been processed at our China warehouse you will need to select ’Action Required’ select your package and complete the required item details. You may also make any special requests.

You can find this under ’My Package’ on your account.

Once the customs declaration and all requests have been completed, the package can then be scheduled for delivery. From this point you may select the carrier, insurance, and pay for your package to be shipped.
